Here are some of my travel tips, I am hoping you will find one or two that will benefit your next trip to the nearest village or when you decide to travel the world.
pack light it’s okay to pack your essentials but don’t take everything with you (like don’t carry cartons of drinking water) carry all your bathroom essentials, lotions and perfume .when it comes to clothes pack only half of what you think you might need .its okay to wear the same short twice, it makes your luggage lighter and no one will notice, Travelling with a single suit case and maybe a backpack or a handbag has saved me a lot of trouble (loosing stuffs and forgetting where that yellow bag with shoes was placed)
Always have some extra cash, emergency situation may arise while on your trip so always have a little extra cash with you, while going around a new town or city carry some change with you for you may never know when the need to get something may arise, I learnt this the hard way it’s okay to have a budget but after you have sought everything that you will need just add a little more extra cash
Let your bank know that you are away and will be using your card somewhere else. This is so they won’t block you from getting some extra cash in some other country .
Tell someone back at home about the places you are going to visit and be sure to update them once in a while. Make your stay known to the local government especially if you are staying at an apartment
Speak to the locals and to adapt their way of life, no better place to start than with greetings and buying from the local shops, you will be astonished by how much information the locals will provide that will make your stay easy. Most of the local guides are inexpensive and furnished with the precise information
Take a lot of photographs and don’t be so hypercritical about anything, you are a visitor not otherwise. Try to understand that we all are different and have different background so before you jump to conclusion make sure you have the right information.
That’s it for today joint down something you must do when travelling and help other travelers to get new ideas.
