Travel to Magoroto Forest

Magoroto forest is situated in the East Usambara mountains in north-east Tanzania. The East Usambaras form part of the mountain chain called the Eastern Arc  which ranges from southern Kenya to southern Tanzania. These mountains are known for their high levels of species endemism and rich floral and faunal diversity
(Hamilton, 1989).

Travel to Pangani, Tanzania

About 55km south of Tanga is the small Swahili outpost of Pangani. It rose from obscure beginnings as just one of many coastal dhow ports to become a terminus
of the caravan route from Lake Tanganyika. It was a major export point for slaves and ivory, and one of the largest ports between Bagamoyo and Mombasa.
